Mark 9:33-50

In this message, Robin Lewis takes us deeper into Jesus’ teachings in Mark 9, where we see several teaching moments by which Jesus instructed His disciples. She reminds us that we, as God’s children, are invited to ask the question “why” to gain understanding—that God desires to give us wisdom as we live for and follow after Him. As we examine these sayings, we are redirected in our thinking just as the disciples were. Jesus speaks to us concerning sin, tribalism, and envy, and shows us how we are to live instead as salt and light, preservers of peace and lights in a darkened world
