Luke 24:13–47 and John 20:19–29

We are hard-wired by God to desire to see good overcome evil and bad outcomes reversed. This desire prepares us for the joy of the resurrection. In this message, Cheryl Brodersen showed us the beautiful ways that Jesus’ resurrection caused a domino effect of reversals: the dead conquered death, and the hopeless were filled with hope! We saw Him open the eyes of the men walking to Emmaus, turn anxiety and fear into peace for His disciples, and turn Thomas’ sorrow and blindness into joy and sight. Jesus is alive and working these same miracles in our hearts and lives today as we receive Him and are the called according to His purposes.
