The Easter Challenge - Lesson 2

Cheryl Brodersen, Guest Speaker
March 12, 2021

In this lesson, we discussed the agonizing last hours before Jesus was delivered over to be crucified: He was betrayed by a friend; tried by night in an unlawful trial; and accused before Pilate. One of His closest followers even denied knowing Him. Yet, in the midst of it all, the divine identity of Jesus was revealed. As He spoke His name, “I am,” His enemies fell to the ground. Sadly, as truth and innocence were proclaimed, the blind religious leaders chose a criminal over the King.
