The Church is to be a place where we can get a taste of the life of the kingdom of God here on earth. She is a community of peace, thankfulness, truth, joy, and free of self-interest. In his message titled, "Life in the Community of God" taken from Colossians 3:15-17, Pastor Brian Brodersen expounds on the truth that because the church is a colony of heaven, she is to be a city of brotherly love. And though the church lives in a country of death, she is the hands, feet, heart, and voice of the living, loving God.
